One-Week Vedānta Course II for Adults with Swami Tattvavidananda & Pratyagbodhananda
September 22 @ 8:00 pm - September 28 @ 1:00 pm
Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi’s vision of nonduality and his deep inquiry (vicāra) resulting in that vision are clearly presented in his composition, Sat-Darśanam, the Vision of Reality. Based firmly in the śāstra, this inquiry uses several traditional methods (prakriyā) of arriving at the truth. In this course, Swami Tattvavidananda will handle these methods to unfold the vision so eloquently expressed in Sat-Darśanam.
Īśāvāsyopaniṣad – Mantras 1-6
This Upaniṣad begins with the statement that everything that is here is to be envisioned as the Lord, Īśvara. The verses that follow make it clear that this is not a visualization or meditation. Everything is to be envisioned as Īśvara because that is the truth—everything is Īśvara. How this is so, what is necessary to understand it, and what is the outcome for the person who understands it will be shown in Swamiji’s teaching of these six verses.
