Maṅgalācaraṇam from Bhāgavatam
The first three verses of Bhāgavatam serve as a prayer, invoking the grace of the Lord, the source of all, and of Sage Vyāsa. They are also a profound, concise revelation of Vedānta. The opening words are the Brahma-sūtra (1.2.1) of Vyāsa which defines Brahman—janmādyasya yataḥ, the one from whom is the birth, etc., of this world. In the unfolding of the meaning of these verses lies the complete non-dual vision that releases a person from the struggle for fulfillment.
