Sadhana-Pañchakam with Swami Sakshatkrtananda
This short text of five (pañcha) verses was popularized by Pujya Swami Dayanandaji as an introductory text for students of Vedanta. Sadhana refers to the means of gaining readiness to receive the knowledge unfolded by Vedanta. The means consist of many steps, which are unfolded in this text. This text, although brief, presents the complete vision of Vedanta in beautiful and memorable verses. These classes will not be recorded or live-streamed.
Vedanta-sara, topics 9 – 15 with Swami Muktatmananda
The text known as Vedanta-sara, authored by Sri Sadãnanda Yogindra Sarasvati, is a very popular introductory text of Vedanta.
In its six chapters, it covers all the main aspects of the teaching, including the qualifications of a student, the nature of superimposition and its removal, the views of competing schools of thought, the steps to self-realization, and the characteristics of jivan-mukti, liberation while living.
